Have a Drink For a Cause at Cutler Real Estate's 2019 Karma Keg Events!
Who knew helping someone in need could be as easy as enjoying a drink at a local brewery? At a Karma Keg, a monthly event hosted by Cutler Real Estate throughout Ohio, you can support local organizations by doing just that!
The Brew Kettle opened its doors in 1995 as Ohio's first brew-on-premise microbrewery. In 2003, they opened their taproom and smokehouse location in Strongsville and has been providing delicious brews and a scratch made menu to the area ever since.
What is a Karma Keg?
The Karma Keg is the brainchild of Vinny DeFrancisco of Cutler Real Estate. After hearing of a similar concept in Houston, he decided that such a wonderful event needed a place in the Midwest. Today, the Karma Keg is more popular than ever, bringing charitable beer lovers from all over Ohio together for a great cause. What is the great cause? We won't know until the end of the event. One of our favorite parts about the Karma Keg is that none of the charities are chosen in advance. As you arrive at the event, you'll make a donation to drink from the keg. Towards the end of the night, a name is drawn and all of the funds raised from that night are given to the charity of the winner's choice. Anyone in attendance (21 and over of course) is welcome to join in! Since its inception in 2017, Karma Keg has raised thousands of dollars for local charities, including the Refuge of Hope, Creative Living, the Habitat for Humanity, Canine County for Independence, and the Akron Children's Hospital! Your favorite charity could be next! The 2019 events will take place between April and September in beloved venues all across the state, from neighborhood breweries to upscale distilleries.
